Dr Ewen, Dr Finch, Dr Grannell, Dr Chappell, Dr Ellingham and Dr Rickford welcome you to Battersea Fields Practice. Established over 25 years ago, the practice has grown into a busy inner-city NHS GP practice serving over 10,000 patients in the local area. Our main surgery is based in Austin Road, and we have a branch surgery in Thessaly Road. We are a teaching practice, helping to train qualified doctors to become GPs; we are also involved in training medical students.
Our aim is provide excellent health care, working within the resources provided by the Department of Health and NHS England. We aim to work with our patients to assess, plan and deliver care at all levels, and welcome patient involvement on and indivual (personal health care) level and when planning the way the practice delivers care to the whole practice population.

Join our Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) Group
Help the practice improve the way that it delivers its services and provides care for our patients by joining our PPI group.
The group meets 4 times a year and facilitates 2 way communication between patients and the management team.

Due to a significant loss of our NHS funding, we are no longer able to provide the same level of service at Thessaly Road. Thessaly Road branch site is now only open on Monday mornings. Extra appointments will be made available at our main site at Austin Road. We apologise for the inconvenience that this may cause to local patients.
