DoctorLink is a health assessment tool for your computer, mobile phone and tablet devices.
The app will asks you a series of relevant questions based on the
symptoms and concerns you enter into it.
This “virtual health assistant” will then advise you on the right action
to take. This might be to make a routine or urgent appointment with the doctor
or nurse, or to see a pharmacist.
The information you put into the tool will be recorded into your clinical records at the practice, just like if you ring 111. This is a free service to all our patients, to help you get the right advice, 24 hours a day. Your mobile operator may charge for data use. To register, go to ‘Useful Links’ on our home page and click on the green ‘doctorlink’; button.
Adults who have received an invitation letter letter can walk in and ask at reception and a member of the nursing team will give you your immunisation. Alternatively you can book an appointment with the nurse (children) or Health Care Assistant (Adults)
This is a new phone/tablet app that allows you to order your repeat medication or book appointments in advance, and you can also use it to cancel your booked appointments if you need to.
It is quick and easy to register and use. You can also continue to use the EMIS on line app too. Just ask at reception for more information.
Occasionally it is important that we close the practice at lunchtime to allow the whole practice team to meet together for training.
The dates for 2019 are as follows:
Tuesday 26th March
Tuesday 18th June
Tuesday 24th September
Tuesday 17th December
On these days the surgery will be shut 1-2.30pm. Telephone calls will be redirected to our call handling service, who will contact our emergency GP when necessary.
No reception staff will be available during these times, and you will not be able to gain access to the practice unless arranged with the emergency doctor through the call handing service.
We apologise if this causes you any inconvenience.
